Hello From Miss March, EF Olive

Olive was advertised for sale on Pets4homes in October 2016, this was sent to The Edward Foundation by a member of the group who had concerns about her age and being unspayed. Although the advert read well and her owner cared for her we had some concerns.

EF contacted Olive’s owners and explained who the Edward Foundation is and its purpose is to save bulldogs at risk. Olive was gifted to The Edward Foundation in September 2016 to start her well-deserved retirement.

Olive was fostered by the Evans family in Wales, it soon became apparent Olive had a cheeky side to her and liked the odd moment of mayhem. Pulling boxer shorts off radiators, trying to kill them and stampeding down the stairs like a bat out of hell just to pin the cat in the corner, bum wiggling of course.

I think it’s safe to say she found her feet and loving the idea of retirement!

On 6th October Olive set off on a long journey from Wales transported by her EF foster Family the Evans, meeting EF volunteers Mandy & Terri half way to take Olive to her forever home in Essex with the Plaskett family.

Olive has settled in well and loves her new family and her fur brother Alfie, she is living a charmed life of spa days, snuggles with her skin brother and spending Fridays surfing on the internet.

We don’t know a huge amount about Olive’s past but what we do know is, her future is secure and will be forever happy.

The Edward Foundation works purely on donations, our vets bills last year were £75,000.00. We took in 179 bulldogs and rehomed 222. Without continued support from our supporters and volunteers this wouldn't be possible.

If you would like to donate this would be much appreciated.
